Crostata
Ingredients for the shortcake
500g flour
200g of butter
200g sugar
4 eggs
Ingredients for filling
400g of jam
1 egg 

Proceeding
Mix all ingredients, form a homogeneous ball.
With the dough into a ball, wrap it in a sheet of plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least half an hour.
Roll out the dough and line a baking pan, (removing excess dough) add the jam.
With excess dough get strips and put them on the jam.
Break the egg and mix. With a brush, pass it on the strip of dough.
Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
